Crew Cab, Black, with the 5.3L V8.
Yes, hello, want.
Needs more white lettered tire though.
I don't even think it's a total Crack Pipe at that price.
I just need $21,000.

I'm glad I'm not the one that likes OWL tires.

Interesting, somehow I had no idea those came with a V8. Nice.

I think all trucks that have thick sidewall tires should have them.

I think they only offered it for the last few years of production.
It's so much better than the 5-pot though.

People always balk when I say that the Colorado had a V8 option at one point. Yeah its shoved in there, yeah its still not overly fast... but it'll definitely surprise. I still like the Atlas 3.5/3.7 I-5 though...because I-5.
(hooning the relative's Colorado when my Audi is down is always fun)

If it wasn't for the fender badges, you'd never know it was packing 300 HP.
I think the I5 was pretty good in the truck. But the I6 out of the TrailBlazer would've been even better.
Both engines should've seen more uses than they did though.

Yes, you're absolutely right. The Atlas was put away too early. Imagine if they had turbocharged and added direct injection? Fack!

Do these come with the aluminum V8 or the iron block?
![]() 09/11/2014 at 21:33 |

A v8 that is actually quite awesome too.

The 5.3 V8 can be made to be fast relatively cheaply though.

From a quick google search, Aluminum.

It's quite good then. The 5.3l aluminum block is used in budget swaps and they can make excellent power on the cheap. You could make a real sleeper with this truck if you wanted to lol.

OWL life

It sounds terrible compared to the 5 cylinder, though.
This would be the only modern GM vehicle I would buy... ONLY because of dat sound.

That last year of the Colorado with those wheels and a slight lift did something to me. V8 was also nice.
Oh, and, Bad car enthusiast now?

Yup!
I feel like I need a dash between bad and car though, because I'm not saying I'm a bad enthusiast, but I like "bad" cars.

OWLs look good on big sidewalls.

The Atlas series had a great sound to it. The Trailblazer's 4.2 sounds awesome as well.

Daily drove one until I got my first vehicle. I still miss that engine, it was awesome. Everything else about the Trailblazer was typical GM, so shitty. It was falling apart at less than 10 years old.
